There are a lot of things that describe me: I love nature, and enjoy hiking, camping, traveling and experiencing different cultures. I am a huge animal lover, especially dogs. I have a creative side, and love photography and web design and marketing. I am a car guy, both from an aesthetic design side as well as the do-it-yourself mechanical and logical side. I also enjoy financial planning and investing.
~ I’ve always been a bit of a go-getter and problem solver.
Much of who I am today started when I was young and interestingly had both logical and creative components that stimulated my interest. When I was in Jr. High I learned how to build my own computers (logical) and design web pages in HTML (creative). I also began by working on the school paper and yearbook in my high school years, and continued in college working for the paper and online annual magazine. Photography was also a natural fit as it not only allowed creative expression, but it had a scientific side relating to exposure and developing which could be manipulated.
I feel extremely fortunate to have spent the last 8 years working in the technology sector where I have been able to travel and work with people from different cultures on a daily basis. I have also been able to focus my natural desire to find better ways of doing things and transfer them into process or tool improvements on projects I worked on.
